14-point LCARS font

[LCARS 24]

This is not TrueType, etc., but I'm experimenting with designing a 14-point LCARS font as a possible replacement for the one I already have in LCARS 24. Here's the latest version of this experimental font. It's only for output in this size and only for my LCARS software. But maybe it shows that the fonts available to everybody could be better.

i'm not an expert for fonts. maybe i'm too custoimized with swiss 911, so i 've to take asecond look to this font...
but anyway, i admire your work ,bill. you do it very consequent, it's great.

Here's one of the canon LCARS fonts: 3.5:1 (height of letter O to its width), the same as the font in my post above. Another canon LCARS font is 3:1. Swiss 911 is 2.57:1 (unless you include the slopover that Kathryn Johnston was complaining about), but that varies with the size. All my LCARS 24 fonts are 3:1 except the smallest, which is 2.8:1, still better than Swiss 911 and a lot clearer in that size.

Also, Mike's font below doesn't have the slopover problem. When I have time, I should get a font editor and make a TrueType font exactly like this, for you guys to use with Illustrator in your LCARS graphics.

If you look at the words PERSONNEL TRANSPORTER below, you can that the font is rendered in the same size as my example above but not as clearly. Printed out on paper, of course, it becomes perfect, because of the high resolution of printers.

okay, now i can see it. look forward to the fianl font, you will creat. if possible, you can also creat an open type font then a true type. or maybe a postscript type1 font. this would enlarge the possibilites ten tousand tiimes.....

as already mentoned. looks great. any possibilty to use this font... ttf, tt, ot, ps......?
