in my opinion, vessels of the size of a shuttle doesn't suit very much for lcars msd graphics - with only one deck.although bill morris did a great job on lcars24 with some of them. see here: http://www.explorermedia.net/forum/inde ... opic=703.0 (http://www.explorermedia.net/forum/index.php?topic=703.0)
i prefer 3d-style cutaways for this kind of spacecrafts.

first time i saw the screencap of the yellowstone class runabout at st:voyager, i thought, this would be a nice possiblity to do some mds-style graphics for shuttle-size spacecrafts. so there the idea was born.

i like to introduce you a set of big shuttle msd-graphics: starting with a lcars graphic similar to the original screencap with the yellowstone class, there will follow the danube class and the peregrine class. more to come soon.

i also lile to show you the basic graphic in balckand white and he secons in nemesis colorscheme.
enjoy!

and here follows the msd of the peregrine class fighter.

Deif,

This is an interesting and unusual shuttle MSD as the original shown in voyager episode non sequitur although radical in is MSD design,* I found it difficult to get that finer detail exposed when recreating it. I must say you have completed an excellent interpretation of this shuttle MSD. 8)

The peregrine class in your nemesis version is fab.

thanx. i really appreciate this.
i was long time thinking about to realize the yellowstone graphic, but lost motivation several times, at least i finished it and saw the potential into this msd desgn for other shuttlecrafts, so i did the peregrine first. i will continue with some more... soon here in this forum!

and here follows the msd for the danube runabout. because of their main apperance in deep space nine i used the ds9 colorscheme for this graphic.

hope, you'll enjoy it!

I really love those graphics Deif,
It's great to see different kind of msd's. Thumbs up man!

and here is the talon class scoutship seen on st:insurrection. i know, that the term talon class isn't pure canon, but according to memory alpha it's the most possible designation. so i felt free to use it also.

enjoy.

and here follows the type 11 shuttle. i used the uss grandeur colorscheme, because this type is part of the onboard vessels.

enjoy.

Not a big fan of that color scheme... but you use it very well. Another great msd Deif.

o, i missed this sorry message....

anyway, thanx for the help, explorer. and here is the description to them:

and here is the argo class shuttle. you remember: the shuttle with the nostalgic wheeled ground vehicle picard would like to drive in nemesis....(maybe inspirational for jj -lol!)
the argo class shuttle looks like a good replacement for the type 9a transport shuttle onboard of starfleet ships. it has a good cargo capacity and can fulfill multiple operations roles. i don't think, it's heavy armed.

hope, you'll enjoy it.

I forgot to mention that it looks great Deif, thank you for posting. All you shuttles msd's a perfect.

Thumbs up for you sir!

thanx, explorer, i really appreciate that. it was a good inspiration to do the this kind of* msd and i liked the result as well. hope, there are some more out there...lol

and thanx for bringing the forum more and more to the functional standard! i know that you spend hours to do that, only to be at our service. a big thanx from my side - unfortunately i can't beam a bottle of bloodwine over to you....

Those are all great. But I have always liked the original blue scheme of the Yellowstone in VOY: Non Sequitur.*

deif
11-30-2008, 09:53 PM
and here is the first of non-canon big shuttlecrafts - the orcus fighter, formerly called gryphon fighter from kaden. to be honest, it's one of my favourites in starfleet fighterdesigns. in default of an ortho view of the orcus i used the gryphon schematics - so there will be some small differences...
i hope, you'll enjoy this as well!

deif
12-01-2008, 02:01 PM
just one more...
here is the msd of the captains yacht of the uss voyager, the aeroshuttle. this auxiliary shuttlecraft was never seen in action at the show, but it's an interesting runabout-like shuttledesign.
hope, you'll enjoy it!

deif

medjai did a wonderful runabout shuttlecraft called volga-class over at scifimeshes. i used his great design for this set and gave it a similar colorscheme like i used for the MSD of the USS Diligent (starship model from medjai also!).
i hope,* you'll enjoy this graphics as well....

deif
12-20-2008, 06:37 PM
and here follows the biggest shuttlecraft desgin in the ST universe: the gryphon class runabout ist a design from gf design and over 40m long! it's non-canon, but looks great.
i did it in nemesis colorscheme and hope, you'll enjoy it.

and last, but not least the Captains Yacht from the good old Enterprise-D. Unfortunately never seen in the show this auxiliary shuttelcraft has a very unique design. traq did a very inspiring wip at scifimeshes for this vessel and i followed mainly his considerations.

with this graphic i've closed the set of MSDs for big shuttles and hope, it enjoyed some of you to see them again in this way.

feel free to share your comments and suggestions here. thanx.

different people asked me for a shot of the cutaway. so here comes the graphic als as full scaleable pdf-file. so you may discover the details as you like...

i mainly followed the calypso wip from traq at scifimeshes with the interior details. especially i like the holocurtain -* 8)

enjoy.

and here follows a new entry to the MSD Big Shuttles Set: the wonderful Sacagawea-Class Scout from Ryan Dening. Deg3D did a grat 3D-model of this design at sf,.com and inspired me to do the LCARS graphis. hope, yoi'll enjoy it!

btw. corrected title sheet...

Sorry for being dense, but I can't see any graphics in this thread. I realise it's 3 years old, so maybe they got orphaned, but perhaps I'm missing something?

Well, I'm hoping to get some inspiration here.

I'm in a Star Trek PBeM group, and was wanting to tidy up some of our group's wiki pages. I roleplay on a Sovereign-class ship, and was hoping to find (or at a push, create) an Okudagram/MSD of the Enterprise-E shuttle and modified Argo type shuttles to use in such a wiki page (with approproate credits where necessary, of course).

So if you can help me with either of those, Deif, I'd very much appreciate any help. :)

Inspiration you will find here as much as possible I think. deif will help you!

Argo shuttle, Enterpris E shuttle. I think I may be able to help you out there.

Let me know which modifications you want, which color scheme and if you want some brackets with that or not.

This is definitely the sort of thing I was after. Thank you!

We're still debating which shuttles to use in our roleplay. If we decide to go with either, I'll do some alterations of your sketches (for one thing, I can't stand that the buggy has wheels!) and let you know, so I can give you a proper credit on our site. :)

Do you have a link you'd like to be credited at?

After doing the forum transfer to Vbulletin last year, we did loose a few of the earlier attachment. I apologize for the inconvenience and I'll try to repost them!

NP, I can provide you with the Illustrator vector files for editing or I can edit them myself if you don't have Illustrator as long as you let me know you want things to look like.

If there are any other vessels you'd like to include, feel free to let me know.

As far as credits are involved, a link to lcarsc.com and lcars24.com are more than appropreate as far as I am concerned (let's do some advertising for the websites here).

Again this blue .....

Like I said in the other thread you mentioned this in, I don't like using the default gray for my post colors.

I'd be happy to use another color if you really want me to.

Now, does anyone have a decent Delta Flyer MSD?

deif

Thank you very much. :bigsmile::cool:

EDIT: Seeing as how the Delta Flyer is available in STO (officially called the Delta-Class Shuttle), would you be up for making a "Generic Delta Flyer" MSD?
