I could find a forum on this site for General Information, So I thought I'd post it here.

I'm looking to buy a new Graphics suite to design LCARS and to draw Starship Schematics, amongst other things. I was planning to buy CorelDraw or Illustartor CS2/3. I've heard the Latest Version of CorelDraw is extremely easy to use and has support for Adobe colour palettes, whereas Adobe Illustrator is more expensive and has a BIG learning curve, but produces extremely professional illustrations!!.

So I was wondering what programs do you use and what would you recommend I Buy, (All Suggestions Welcome!!).

well I'm an Adobe CS3 guy... love the new complicity between illustrator and flash.

As for Corel, never used any software except for paint shop pro XI, wich is a pretty decent program. So I would say if you could get your hands on maybe a trial for each of them, so you could try and experiment, that way you'll know wich one you prefer.

Thats just my suggestion.

Thanks for the Advice explorer, I never thought about downloading a trial package of each so maybe I'll do just that!! If anyone else has any suggestions please post here!!

Hey don't worry, It's early days yet!!

Perhaps you could try some sort of Advertising Campaign, if you'd like we could meet on MSN later to discuss this further!? :)
