View Full Version : Help? (Nova Class)
I'm just totally stuck at the moment, I can't decide what to do. I'm trying to make a msd for a project I'm working on but it's just not turnign out that well* :-[
I'll show you what I've got so far and could someone then please tell me what to do lol

first of all: what applcation do you use? illistrator, photoshop, inkscape....?
if you don't use a vector drawing based app, things will become difficult.
second; you should use a work space big as possible (3000x2000pixel).
third: do you have a detailled hi-res master sideview of the nova class which you can trace for the outline? if so, you should do that.
fourth: the nova has* 8 decks. i would draw this by guidelines aand do the seperationa in next step.
so far, so godd, let me know, what you did.
Using Photoshop CS2 and I know, it's gonna be difficult...not sure what to do :S
Yeah, think I should work on a bigger scale, just kinda pottering along with that. I'll post any updates aswell :)
I know this is a huge bump and I do apologise, but I was looking around a bit and felt obligated to show you how I got on.
This was done a while ago and I have improved since, but I mean it's still better than my first attempt XD

I donīt think it is a bad start. It could be larger at all so it is easier to draw the things filling the decks out. The outline around the ship is a little too thick in my opinion, but the rest is totally okay. Donīt stuck, it is a cool project!!!

You also may want to watch voyager season 5 episode 26 called Equinox part 1. The MSD of the Equinox is several times in full view.
You did a great job on what you have there. Some minor details may have to be adjusted.
Thanks for the input, but this isn't something i'm continuing. The whole point of this was to have custom LCARS for a map I made for the game Elite Force (1). I've since released it and have moved on to doing something else.
