Star Trek Vs Star Wars - Which is the best gaming franchise?

Given the choice which gaming franchise do you prefer, do you like Trek games or is it Star Wars all the way!?

Also which other space combat/adventure games do you like to play and how often do you play 'em!?

well, it depends on how well the game is made. i like startrek bc but i hate x-wing alliance but i like starwars galaxies and not klingon empire. everyone is differant on what they like. i love jedi accadamy

I'm an avid BC fan, It's simply the best Trek game ever made!!. I also used to enjoy playing Birth of the Federation, but since I got WinXP I haven't been able to play it :(

As for Star Wars games, the best game for me has to be Rogue Squadron for the N64/PC. Flying down the Death Star trench with that torpedo ready to fire really got the adrenaline pumping...

Now, this really depends. In ST, it's BC and SFC1 and 3. In SW it's Jedi Academy, KotOR1/2. I also still play an old space shooter called Wing Commander: Prophecy.

I've heard the KOTOR I & II are excellent games developed by Bioware and Obsidian, I've been meaning to buy them but something else always crops up lol.

they are excellent games if you like rpg's. they really are the best starwars games going and ive played them both on the original xbox and also play kotor 1 on the pc too.
