One of my VERY old sketches. It is from the Dominion War!* :D
Kmprīrak,
I think it is important here in reflection of your sketch to mention to other members the importance of this sort of work. Sketching things out first on paper and it does not matter how rough, will give better results, and I do this a lot, it can save a lot of time when getting down to doing the final painting of whatever scene is being attempted.

I agree. I also often uses pen and paper for sketching some things. Nice to know I am not the only one!* ;D
Well it does save me a lot of time.* 8) 8) ;)

I have found some old LCARS I did some years ago. Take a look.
I also added the original PowerPoint-Files in zipped folders, because the screenshots are sometimes too small!

Love it.
I just hate how LCARS depict the human form.
I will make the man a bodybuilder !
I will make the man a bodybuilder !
that's excactly, what i was thinking some timeago, bracer - LOL! personally, i would really need some body exercises, sitting much too long at the computer......

I've been trying to shape up for a while now because like you said, we've been sitting at the computer for too long.
But I go all out humiliating myself here just so that I will be motivated enough to do it.

^ ;D
Yes, the form of a body was not the best choice. Even in the original!

It's not your fault, you are just sticking to the canon, it's just one of those "Canons" I am NOT going to match in my LCARS.

Right! Sometimes "canon" is not the best way! :)

With his hands spread out ?
All that space wasted !
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
But yeah, it seems proper to choose him.

But I would still choose a bodybuilder, beautiful curves and outlines ;p

LOL! i could imagine to see him in a MACO uniform.....!

You never know what the future has in store for us. Maybe after 200 years of eating fast food, preservitives, genetically modified nutriments. We might end up looking like that. Or maybe we'll just be all big huge blobs...
But to slowly return to topic, nice work Kmprīrak.
Thanks for posting.

Very good to see your early work Kmpr'rak. I don't recall seeing these at the other place. It's good to see more art and less debate here.
It is most interesting to see your interpretation of these graphics.
