Robert

Yeah it was a typo. Updated it to Ancillary Modulation. Thanks Bracer.

Shouldn't it be Auxiliary Modulation ?

explorer great work. spot on and yes you are correct, it is Ancillary Modulation to top right LCARS. But there again who will worry about it :)

Thanks alot Adge.

I started working on the second floor. It's a very simple mostly copy paste. But that how these things work.* ;)

Here's the main console on the second floor. This panel changed many time throughout the seasons in color scheme. I decided to keep the early one wich mainly had less purple in it. It matches better the rest of the set too.

Hope you'll enjoy.

Thanks guys.
I'm in need of some assistance. As anybody seen a screenshot with better resolution of that little room at the far right of engineering behind the lift.
I posted one wich is the only one I've ever seen.

Any help will be gladly appreciated.

explorer,

Try these, although not that clear they may help.

Thanks guys and thanks Adge for the shots.

Here's a WIP of what I've manage to do (including my new backlit effect). Please keep in mind that this is mostly done out of my imagination. I think its close enough and seem to look canon too.
Enjoy.

When I first saw these I noticed the #FFCC99 for the elbows, and it seemed right. But I was just looking at an old VOY episode (The 37s) and noticed the colors on the conn, and the elbows looked like #CCCC66 to me, and there was a rectangle of #999933 at the top, so it looked. Maybe it's a degraded tape or my degraded eyesight.

Explorer, I asume you use Illustrator... how do you create this particular backlit effect? What filters do you use? (just out of curiousity)... because it looks sharp.

Thanks j.anderson. As for the backlit effect. Very very simple. Gradiant layer with a color dodge transparency.

Yeah voy was amazing when it came to colours scheme, not only did they modify the scheme itself, they keep changing the lighting of the sets.

very annoying.

Anyway here's the final version of those LCARS in that little room, hope you all enjoy it.

Thanks.

To conclude this topic... I will re-attach every screen for engineering some redone using the new backlit effect.

Consider this post the official "Voyager Engineering Display" post. I hope you'll enjoy.

Sweet work Explorer, I LOVE it.

I also would like to ask permission to use your way of creating the backlit effect in some of my works.

Sweet work Explorer, I LOVE it.

Permission granted. I love that effect now... and I find it a good way to prevent people to take your work, copy pasting parts of it to make their own without adding a real watermark on it. The gradient won't line up well ;)

Thank you everyone for all the kind comments. I'll be continuing work on voyager with the bridge display now. Stay tune.
