Hello everyone. First post, so I guess I have to say I'm happy to have found this great little site.
Anyways, here's the deal.
I'm in the process of making a WAD Theme for a WVGA Device (The Touch Pro2.) For those who do not know, WAD is Wisbar Advanced Desktop, a Theme/skinning software for the Today or entire Windows Mobile Device. For anyone here who may own a WVGA device (HTC Touch HD, HTC Diamond2, Whitestone, Touch Pro2) this is a great chance to help me get a fantastic LCARS rolling.
The WAD Theme will feature a clean, and easy to use LCARS interface with a nicer color scheme, A "Favorites" page for speed-dialing contacts. And in the end, hopefully a flowing interface.. The starting ground is getting a couple templates pieces off the ground. Frames, Buttons, etc. to help give that look. I'm currently learning the ropes of the design via Photoshop, so I hope to eventually start rolling out my own icons and buttons, but for now I'm very amateur at creating the nice, smooth shapes needed.
Anyways, I was wonder if anyone here would be interesed in helping me create some template icons, buttons, frames, etc. for the project. We're working with a 800x480 / 480x800 resolution, so its a pretty cramped Widescreen.
In the end I hope to have it working for both Portrait and Landscape that has a clean, easy to use interface that flows, and of course the LCARS style to it.
Eventually i'll be bringing it over to my fellow HTC users down at sites such as PPCGeeks.com and Xda-developers.com There I'd give all the credit to those who help me develop it, and they of course get the finished product.
Who knows, if someone gives me a beer in the end for making this, I hope I can send you a beer too for the help.
