It's that time again.
I'm now starting a new set of LCARS, this time it's the amazing Prometheus.
This will be entertaining to do because of all the different types of LCARS they had on this bridge. This was definitely one of the worse kitbash of displays, the production staff ever did for a bridge. Purple, pink, and many other horrific pastel colours. I'll try my best to reproduce them as canon as possible, but lets face it, not that many reference material available for a ship that appeared only once.
Lets start with the Conn/Helm. Luckily this one (at least part of it) was seen unboard the fake federation ship Dauntless in the episode "Hope and Fear".
Enjoy.

Cool. Nice to see those.

Thanks Bill.
Now here's the MSD. This one I'm proud of. Way better than my last version. Colors and such are way more canon. Overall a great msd in my opinion.
Enjoy.

Very smooth, as always.
I don't have a screencap handy to check at the moment, but my offhand recollection of the on-screen version is that the outline was #99CCFF and the deck lines were #6699CC. And I do remember the landing struts being #FF9966. I also vaguely remember the published version, in some kind of purple and yellowish scheme.
this is a masterpiece, explorer. i agree, it looks much better.
but - does it has really white brackets? just a question, i have no references.

You might be right for the colours, but I find that #6699CC is too dark to look good and that #99CCFF was too blue.
I' ve attached a screencaps of how it looks. You can see that the colours for the outline is a lighter blue and and the deck lines are very visible, too visible to be so dark. Although I could be wrong. As for the landing struts, you are probably right but I haven't seen a clear enough picture to think otherwise.

Actually, its a light blue. I might have over did the lighting effect. But I'm still happy. I've attache a picture without the lighting.
Thanks guys.

I drew in two rectangles on this screencap (#9999FF and #9999CC) for comparison, and the landing struts are there but hard to see clearly. That whitish color might be #CCCCFF. At least, that's what I use as LCARS white.

explorer, beutifully interpreted. good use of colours indeed.
When I prodioced my version many years ago I had the same delemma because they used 'many other horrific pastel colours' just to quote you.
I did though, base mine on the image from the ST Encyclopedia, and then try my best like you to try and clean up the colours, but keeping as much as possible to the one shown in the episode.
Here's the one from the ST Encyclopedia:

Thanks guys,
yeah it is a lot of work to get the exact colours, but I'm happy with how it came out.
Here's the next panel. Wall displays. It's the one exactly to the right of the msd. You'll notice that it is comprise of 3 styles and scheme.
fig. 006 has a typical animated LCARS with a simple static LCARS using the Voyager colours.
fig. 007 a simple static LCARS re-using elements and colours from the prometheus conn. Also two typical animated displays; bio-circuity diagnostics and scan analysis.
fig. 008 is another exemple of re-use LCARS. This particular screen is seen many times. At the excat same location on the Equinox bridge and right under the msd of the Enterprise-E in First Contact and Insurrection. The amazing thing is, that no matter how many times we seen it, I can never find some good reference material.
Enjoy.

Here's the next panel.
From top to bottom:
fig. 009 is composed of 2 animated screens: Magnetic integrity and systems integrity chk. The first one I'm not sure exacty what it is. It might not even be the right name, if anybody as good screencaps of this screen, I would really appreciate it. As for the integrity chk. It's very similar to the usual one except that the ship is light blue (or white) instead of orange.
fig. 010 was pretty easy to do. It's a spacious design using the Voyager colour scheme and featuring two simple static LCARS. Once again, I had to improvise, but I'm pretty sure it matches the show.
fig. 011 was the hard one. Again although seen any many episodes (VOY: Message in a Bottle), movies (Insurrection and First Contact) and Games (Star Trek: Borg), it was very difficult to find a good clear reference of the entire panel. I again improvise and I'm very happy with the look. Again, this panel as a different colour scheme. Using the FC LCARS colours.
Enjoy.

I love seeing those system integrity check screens, I know they must be hard but man they are cool.
Good job!

You are so talented Explorer.
But Even before I get to admire your talent I'm already blinded by your dedication.

Thanks guys
I was nice to get such great compliments.
Here's the latest one and again from top to bottom.
fig. 012 is made of an animated screen. I called it PWR Modulation. I made the name but not the graphic. It is a weird version of a systems analysis screen which I have never seen anywhere else then on this bridge. Still I think it turned out pretty good. To the right of that one is a very small static LCARS that I called waveform analysis. Looks good and is surrounded by typical LCARS elbows and buttons. I've made my research and that what it is on the set.
fig. 013 a nice flashback for LCARS. The first one is a modified science station graphic seen on TNG. Why is it there. I have no clue. To the right of that one is a typical Command Codes static LCARS, seen in corridors and tactical station of Voyager. They added another waveform graphic to the top of it I guess to turn it into a science type LCARS. Got to love all that recycling.
fig. 014 again is just an small alterations of fig. 011. Still it looks pretty good.
Enjoy

Here's the next console.
I found even less reference material for this one.
fig. 015. features two static displays. The first one is a mix between Missions Ops from Voyager and the Tactical stations. the second displays is a simpe static stellar chart.
fig. 016 is just a cutout fig. 010 to fit a CRT animated screen featuring the Magnetic integrety from fig. 009.
fig. 017 uses the same layout as fig. 012 but with a different animated LCARS.
fig. 018 is actually uses an original layout. I know it's not 100% but it's the best I could do with the screenshots I have.
Enjoy.
great work, explorer. your prometheus bridge project becomes awesome more and more.

Thanks Deif,
Here's the next station:
Again I should say these reproduction are as best as I can make them considering the lack of reference material.
fig. 019 recycling part of fig. 015 with a Vessel Status animated LCARS.
fig. 020 as a almost totally different layout (talk about a lack of uniformity of this bridge). With a tiny static display about Inertial dampers and another screen about Gamma Radiation that you may have seen on TNG but it as been re-vamp to fit on this bridge.
fig. 021 simple static / animated combo screen featuring a Cargo transfer manifest and the Power Modulation screen.
fig. 022 as a typical layout with two static screen. The command codes LCARS seen earlier and a nice Weather Control system seen in TNG an adapted to fit this bridge.
Hope you enjoy these.

Well, it all looks very convincing. Nice work, Explorer.
love to see the borders of the imagination streched out with this new interpretations of your lcars graphics of the prometheus bridge, explorer. i was always a fan of a coherent whole in terms of bridge graphics. i like it, when they make sense and aren't only decorations.
thumbs up!

Thanks Deif and Bill,
Here's the next station:
Nothing really new here.
fig. 023 is sort of a variation of the one seen in fig. 015 with a added Systems Integrity chk animated screen.
fig. 024 as the same weird layout as fig. 020 but I added a nice small structural integrity diagram.
fig. 025 and 026 is basically more recycling with two animated screens at the bottom.
Enjoy.

Now here are the last two graphics for this set.
fig. 027 is again just some recycled static LCARS seen throughout the bridge.
fig. 028 is slightly more original featuring a plasma analysis graphic seen on the USS Raven on on janeway's computer. The rest of it is recycled stuff.
fig. 029 is just a flip version of fig. 008 with some minor change in layout and colours.
Now, on with the misc stuff.
fig. 030 is that flashing light seen under the viewscreen, nothing too complicated to do but it looks good enough.
fig. 031 and 032 are those white lights seen all around the command area. Again simple but it works.
fig. 033 is the dedication plaque. I'm not 100% happy with it, but I want it to retain the style of my Voyager one.
Enjoy.

Haha did I meantion I need them by sunday! Just kidding, you do great work, in fact pretty much everyone who posts here does absolutely awsome work! Glad to see it. ;D
explorer,
Fab as always. If I'm honest with everyone, I am like you and possibly others that are hooked on LCARS. Can we ever achieve that 100% in our interpretions of the LCARS especially with all those colours, lights and some times near impossible to see the actual details we all see from all the series.
I like to think we are damn well close e.g.99.9999999999999% ;D ;D ;D
Keep up your great work, as I love seeing it.
