Hi guys. I'm here again starting a new set. Maybe not the first one on mtblillie's list but still in the top 3.
The U.S.S. Defiant. Lets start with the MSD.
fig. 001 is my third installement of this MSD. I didn't change much from my older one. The layout is more canon and I very much like the colours. Now do not get confused, this MSD isn't suppose to be colored. The only colored version of the Defiant was seen in the few last episodes of DS9 on the bridge of the new defiant (Sao Paulo).
I hope you'll enjoy this one and stay tuned for more updates.

Thanks mtblillie for the enthusiastic reply and Deif for the encouragement.
Here are the next displays:
These are all the screens seen around the msd at the back of the bridge.
fig. 002 and 003 are just typical animated screens with silver elbows at the top of them.
fig. 004 and fig. 007 are two screens located at the left and right of the msd. They are very basic static LCARS screens that in my opinion are one big screen split in half.
fig. 005 and 006 are again two animated LCARS.
Enjoy.

Are you kidding? I'm like a kid at christmas when you put these sets up, I love it!
I don't think I have seen anyone make these ones yet (it seems like you werent even able to access them on captain's chair). And I do agree with you, I think it is a single panel split in half, it seems like there is always one of those in a set.

Thanks again mtblillie,
most of them you can see in "Captain's Chair" but they are not very accurate. The colours, layout and size don't match what we see on screen.
The next part of this set are the consoles and screens located at the right and left of the tactical table at the back of the bridge.
fig. 008 is an isolinear display.
fig. 009 are little circuitry screens placed on top of panels.
fig. 010 is a nice static LCARS which I really like the design. A simple and elegant layout.
fig. 011 composed of 3 graphics representing the replicator system.
fig. 012 is a variation of fig. 008 and flipped.
Enjoy.
explorer, nicely done to your exceptionally high standards.

Looking great, Explorer. I was wondering about the MSD color, though. I'm only familiar with the blue color in the series, other than the brownish one in Shattered Mirror and green in Valiant.

Thanks guys.
I was wondering about the MSD color, though.
Well mine is the blue version. But the Backlight effects makes it look white.
Here's the next diplays:
fig. 013 is a the LCARS display you see (rarely) on the tactical table at the back of the bridge.
fig. 014 is a typical door bell type static diplays without backlit.
fig. 015 and 016 are the two static LCARS and isolinear seen right next to the two doors.
Enjoy.

Thanks bmused55
Now here's the Tactical II station:
fig. 017, 018 and 019. What I noticed on those static keyboard type LCARS is that there is a lot of un-coloured ones. I'm not sure exactly why the graphic team decided on something like that. But hey who am I to judge.
fig. 020 as a static LCARS display showing off a Stellar Cartography screens and a standard Ancillary Modulation screen.
fig. 021 is the main console displaying 5 animated LCARS featuring a nice Systems Integrity Check and one Wide static LCARS showing another Stellar Cartography display.
Enjoy.

Hello everyone,
this next graphic took me longer than anticipated. But I'm very happy with it.
Here is the engineering station.
fig. 022 to 024 are the typical keyboard type static display. Again like fig. 017 to 019 a lot of un-coloured button here and there. This was pretty easy to do.
fig. 025 starts of with a top view diagram of the defiant. But have you notice that the actual layout and shape of the ship is wrong. This was probably done by the art team before the final design of the Defiant was completed. But funny how it lasted all the way to the end of the series. Heck even the Sao Paulo had that diagram on the bridge. You would think that someone would have caught on and made a new one. How are could that be. Below that graphic is a warp coil alignment displays. Pretty easy to do in illustrator and I'm happy of how it looks.
fig. 026 is made of two animated LCARS screen, in this case a systems monitor and a subsystem allocation. In the center you see a very nice (sarcasm) static screen showing the warp core. On the actual set there was flashing lights behind the plexiglass to give the illusion that the warp core was animated. You could see this technique very often in TNG. Then on the right, basically a static version of the animated subsystem allocation. Finally; the RCS thruster quad assembly. This took me a long time to do. Started out by making it from scratch in 3d using C4d. Then tried to import it into illustrator. I didn't like the end result. So I finally did it all in illustrator. And I must say it looks good enough. The best version I have seen of this on the web is from our dear friend Adge.
Anyway that's it.
Hope you all enjoy it.

Here's the Defiant's conn.
Not much to say about it except that I have included both flat and curved version.
Enjoy.

The following are the two consoles next to the Captain's chair.
I didn't use any backlit effect on these because they weren't in the show.
Enjoy.

The next installment for the displays of the U.S.S. Defiant are two consoles located on both left and right of the viewscreen.
Enjoy.

Thanks guys,
here's the Science Station:
fig. 032, 033 and 034 are just reverse version of fig. 022, 023 and 024 with some small alterations to the colours and layout.
fig. 035 is made of 2 animated LCARS and 3 static ones just like the previous engineering station. Nothing special. Except I made a new Stellar Cartography LCARS wich I really like. You can't tell from this image but the nebula is all done in vectors.
fig. 036 is nothing special; 2 static LCARS : Long Range Sensor Scan and EM Radiation Analysis.
Enjoy.
wow, awesome. i especially like the science displays. they look very, very prof...!
thnx for sharing, explorer.

Thank you Deif and mattrek.
Here is the last displays of the set; the Tactical I Station and the dedication plaque:
fig. 037 to 039 are again typical static (keyboard type) LCARS which is mainly a flip version of the Tactical II station but minor alterations to the colours and layout.
fig. 040 is again a nice composition of 5 animated LCARS (Bio-circuitry, ancillary, local memory, scan analysis and inter-mix allocation. Where it varies is in the class one sensor probe static display. Now again showing a diagram of a sensor probe. And for some reason the prominent colour is blue, which throughout the rest of the bridge, blue is in minority.
fig. 041 features a typical animated display (systems monitor) and a nice static LCARS showing off the photon torpedos inventory. It's a nice yet simple looking graphic with a beige very basic elbow layout.
Finally fig. 042 is the dedication plaque. Nothing special here, although it did change the style of it. Took away the texture to add more gradient.
That's all for this set, see you again for the next one (and I think you will be suprise when you see what it is).
Enjoy!

This was incredible!
I was looking for some high-res LCARS images so that I could nail down some details that I am working on. It might be mostly dead, but I play Star Trek: Legacy still and I am in the process of making a custom control interface with a LCARS style face with an overall design structually at least based on the forward bridge seats of the Enterprise D (triangular box style). I wasn't trying to copy any particular display, but this will help me nail down some style issues!

I have to say explorer that I really like the backlight look of your panels. IMO it really captures the look of the panels as we're used to seeing them on the show.
