View Full Version : Starliner Pegasus-Class
hi
for a while I was playing with the idea to design a non combat vessel of the ST-universe, but I was not really trusting my own skills.
then the Valhalla-Class inspired me and I gave this try a chance.
So here I present you the starliner 's.s. veil of merope', a pegasus-class starship in the tradition of the sea cruising ships of good old earth.
if somebody liek to do a 3d project of it, I would appreciate this very much. I really have no skills for that.
c&c are welcome. enjoy!
greetings from the swiss alps

this looks pretty good, if you can do a side front and back view i might take up the 3d offer.

Wow!! !amazed
Very good work deif, this is one thing we never really saw in Star Trek. With space being so big you would think that Star Liner and Transport ships would be more common than Starfleet vessels!!.
The ship has excellent lines and a good amount of detail too, looks late TNG to me with a sovvie influences. My only gripe is that it could do with a bit more colour!? !dodge
I'd really love to see some different orthographic view and maybe an MSD in the future too at some point.
Really great job!! ;)
thanx for the kind comments
;)
there is definitly more to come...
I hope to be able to do more orthographic views.
and here it is: the MSD for the pegasus starliner. enjoy.
I will still working on the orthos later.[br]../../e107_files/public/1183768956_12_FT318_msd_starcruiser_.png (../../e107_files/public/1183768956_12_FT318_msd_starcruiser.png)[br]
It was late night, when I've posted the msd. so I had to do some corrections on it this morning. here is the corrected version.
I also changed the lcars bars to give them a more sophisticated design - it's for a luxury starliner, you know - :)
enjoy![br]../../e107_files/public/1183814601_12_FT318_msd_starliner_.png (../../e107_files/public/1183814601_12_FT318_msd_starliner.png)[br]

congrat for the hundert! !amazed
I agree with you and was wondering myself of the lack of big civilan ships at ST! if somebody was around as civilian, they had only ships of the size of a bigger shuttle. the real big cracks where always the starfleet vessels. but there is definitly a need for big passenger transport and trade ships - aka ships like a starliner...! so this motivated me to invent something like that. and at least, space should not be only the playground for militaristic guys...!! It's big enough for more then battles.
I'm still struggeling with the orthos. I really like to see this ship in a 3d view - but unfortunately have no idea or skills to do. thanks for any help.

so here is a first poor try to do orthographic views of the starliner. I had to reaise, that thing to not fit in one another and it's esay to draw a MSD, but when it goes to 3d, everyting is different...
hope, this will help in one or another way. pleas let me know what you need further

i dont mind waiting till you have them all finished and the details in place. its always better to have full details in these pics than just the outlines :)
