according to the wonderful nebula-class thread from bill morris *(lcars24) i did a nebula-class msd in the engineerroom display style seen at TNG for the galaxy class starships.

i used the uss ulysses for the msd, mentioned at ds9.

i hope, you'll enjoy this graphic

I was hoping you would do one influenced by what I did.

It worked out well, actually. I got what I needed, and yours benefited from my research. You matched the outline from the Star Trek Encyclopedia, which is way better than in all the previous cutaways people have done, and you got the deck pitch right. The key there is to make sure deck 10 is the lower deck of the saucer rim. Then the rest falls into place all the way to the keel. Kind of late for me to mention that, but you got it right.

I should have posted just the cutaway in my thread after I corrected the fantail, the shape of which takes a bit of research and measuring to determine. But that is also mentioned in an article at Ex Astris Scientia (just that it has a shorter radius than that of the Galaxy class) , and you can see it on the filming models.

About your placement of a torpedo launcher at the rear of the pod, I put it there too at first then changed it after looking at a top view and realizing it should go back a bit. My mistake.

This shows that and the corrected fantail.
