Lcars grey eminence

  1. In the beginnings....

    inspired by kmpr_raks thread first steps i scanned some of my early works to share them with you. they where created in the 70ths of the last century. so you can imagine, i was a bit younger this time….
    i was mainly inspired by the german fiction story about perry rhodan, 2001- space odyssey and the first star wars movies at this time. star trek wasn't very popular this years, it started to be better known in the 90ths here in europe.

    i made the graphics in the time of my apprenticeship ...

  2. Newton research space station

    about the task and position of the Newton Station i told something more in the thead here.
    i like to give some more insights here at the different parts of the station.

  3. USS Aventine MSD

    it was my desire to do the MSD for the USS Aventine from the very beginning i saw the ship the first time at the internet. but there was no useable sideview available. but now i've found and one of my dreams came true....!

    Mark Rademaker (clawhammer) did the shipdesign for this Vesta-Class Mk.2 vessel and showed us here and here some awesome pictures. as i unterstand his website www.clawhamme.nl, the project is still n progress.

    the USS Aventine is a post nemesis vessel ...

  4. Challenger Class MSD

    polaris004 did a wonderful thread over at scifi meshes.com about the challenger class. i didn't found a MSD graphic somewhere of this vessel, so i created one myself.

    here you have the black&white version of the graphic to give you a better insight into the details of the ships cutaway.

    the challenger class is a starfleet cruiser from the TNG period. it's shape is influenced by the galaxy-class - same style of the nacelles and the saucer. the most famous challenger ...

  5. Volga Class Runabout Shuttle

    one of my favourite shuttles is a design from medjai over at scifi-meshes.com, the volga class runabout. i really think, that medjai created a wonderful shuttle. it looks very streamlined and elegant.
    for bigger starship graphics like MSDs i do often schematics of shuttlecrafts. i trace them off from other pics like the one i post here. when i have a illustrator graphic i can use them for several purposes, inverted or whatever needed. so graphics like this are basic in the creation of bigger ...
