one of my favourite shuttles is a design from medjai over at scifi-meshes.com, the volga class runabout. i really think, that medjai created a wonderful shuttle. it looks very streamlined and elegant.
for bigger starship graphics like MSDs i do often schematics of shuttlecrafts. i trace them off from other pics like the one i post here. when i have a illustrator graphic i can use them for several purposes, inverted or whatever needed. so graphics like this are basic in the creation of bigger works.
