polaris004 did a wonderful thread over at scifi meshes.com about the challenger class. i didn't found a MSD graphic somewhere of this vessel, so i created one myself.

here you have the black&white version of the graphic to give you a better insight into the details of the ships cutaway.

the challenger class is a starfleet cruiser from the TNG period. it's shape is influenced by the galaxy-class - same style of the nacelles and the saucer. the most famous challenger class vessel was the uss buran, one of the poor victims of the battle at wolf 359.
