Really nice work there. Definitly a different take on the typical MSD, but that's what keeps things interesting!
I'm really liking the wallstations. I agree that they are not too busy, but busy enough. Nice layout and color choice.
Yeah, they do seem to be always "scanning" something with their sen-sores. Whatever it is though, you captured it pretty well! :amuse:
No problem. I'm sure Adge might have something to add that would help all of us aspiring LCARS animators! Hint-Hint... :amuse:
Ok, I'm certainly not a Flash expert here, but I did notice that the animation has an obvious loop every 10 seconds
Are all your scrolling numbers part of the main timeline or are they in...
I like the overall direction of these displays, however, in Fig. 20, the top bar seems a bit to thick or heavy to me compared to the bottom bar. In Fig. 20, the left side looks a bit empty, like it's...
Very detailed drawing, very nice! Also, the very top of the sketch drawing bears a striking resemblance to the bottom of another familiar spaceship. Anyone see what I see? I'll post a pic if I can...
Looks good to me. I really do like the design layout of these screens. The rotating "spinners" contrast nicely with the more familiar scrolling text.
I still can't warm to the LCD filter, but hey,...
Can't wait to see!
Congrats on the sales! This "movie" style MSD is my favorite. The color choice is very pleasing to the eye too. Thanks for posting. Any plans for the Nostromo?
I like it, as far as I can see anyway. Can't make out much detail with the zoom level on my laptop. Just my setup maybe? Do you have a higher res pic?
Interesting concept. Alternate realities and multiverses present lots of story options. Make it so...
Very nice! I'm a big fan of the Enterprise graphics, and yours is well done.
I can remember programming graphics similar to this in HS computer lab on VIC-20's in 1981-82. Color displays...we were psyched! Prior to that we had Commodore PET and Kaypro computers and monochrome...
This looks great Adge! Love the opportunity to see displays used in context this way. The 3D rendering is excellent, and the animations are superb!
width="350" height="350"
Ok, I've updated the scanner to show a more accurate "prop" rather than an ideal version of the graphic. The looked changed depending on the viewing angle, so this...
Thanks everyone! Glad you like them.
Excellent work as always, and thanks for the bts pic!
I think the flipped graphic must be on a different console. The first console close-up with Malcolm looks teal, whereas the flipped graphic...
Hi Adge, nice work. It is interesting the level of "slapdash" that went into these pre-HD sets.
No one will ever notice...yea, right!
