Default MSD USS Titan NCC 80102

as a result of a remittance work:
the MSD for the USS Titan, the starship, which saw Will Riker as captain after nemesis.
The USS Titan is a semi-canon vessel (mentioned, but never showed) and supposed to be called Luna-Class Explorer.
I used the winning contest design from Sean Tourangeau for that starship: http://www.simonsays.com/content/fea...eature_id=4347
and have created two MSD graphics.

    hope, you'll enjoy them!

    Deif,

This is certainly drawn to a very high standard and a lot of detailed work has produced a superb interpretation in the final MSD.* The balance of colours IMO is just right.* A Great effort indeed.

    Hey Deif,
This looks amazing. Like Adge said, the level of details you use in your MSD's is impressive.

Now the first one, nice layout... and color used. But by the size of the top brackets, the name and class of the ship would appear way to big to be on a wall (in my opinion). But is would be perfect on a large padd size display. Also the the spinner (or XY translation pad) looks really out of place. Feels like a cut and paste job. Now the interior is amazing. I never get tired of the pure quality that you show us in your msd's.* Everytime you make a new one, you suprise me. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the interior layout. Superbe.

The second MSD. This one is by far my favourite. Very nice layout. Feels very much like it came out of the mind of Okuda himself. I won't comment on the msd's interior (same one used, and you know I love it ;) ) but only the layout. Bracket are perfectly dispersed, but seems like something is missing in the top left of the screen. Folowing perfectly your nemesis colour scheme (wich I'm liking more and more), but at the bottom, the side and top view of the ship really feels out of place. Again in my opinion, they are too big, compared to the other screens and actual msd. Also the colours just seems weird (perhaps more blue)?

Anyway great job Deif, sorry for the critics. Love your work man, and thumbs up for you my friend.

    adge and explorer
i really feel touched by your honoring comments. many thanx for that, my friends.
i really appreciate your critics, explorer. your'e right - i didn't was satisfied with the first version, so i created the second one...
it was a request from triton1 from schfimeshes, wich motivated me to do the graphics.
i prefer the second also far more.
with the spinner you really hit the point - it was a copy and paste thing - lol! only experts will see this details...
when i'm working on a MSD i'm always concentrated on the functions of a starship. what should a starship really need and how things are connected with one another. isn't only a placeholder, when i draw internal details. i like to give a starship the most possible functionalty in a graphioc like a master system display.
the schematics took me a lot of work to draw and i thought, i would be great to have them on the MSD. especially because the impulse drive isn't visible on the cutaway.
well, i do works like this for fun and maybe to motivate others to stir up their creative abilities. and i'm really thankful to have possibilites like this forum to share the work with friends like you. so thanx for your background work on the forum also, explorer. i know, htere are lots of hours you've spend to make it work.....

This is extremely awesome, Chief! Although I haven't really enjoyed the class much as I watched it form on SFM, it has grown on me some. But the LCARS are "primo", which is common for you!
