BSG DRAYDIS first attempt

Hi guys, i noticed on the show the displays have a kind of two tone effect, that might just be my old tv, but tell me what you think.


This my first attempt so be kind :)

I think it's great, very detailed. Looks like you got most if not all of the little nooks and crannies. The only suggestion I can think of right now is that the TV show had more of orange tone rather than red. But honestly I like the whole "red alert" look this one has!

mtblillie, you said about the organge, but all the screen caps i can find show more of a red tone? i've seen other peoples work who chose orange, but just look to bright and kinda cheesyto me.

Just wondering, do any of you creat your our displays based on your own ideas? i would love to see them. :)

You are right, I did a quick search after I posted here, and found that screencaps weren't really orange but more of a redish-orange, kind of a reddish peach color I guess. I don't know if its really that color or it is red and just looks like a peachy color through the screen (BSG likes to have a dark pixilated look in their film to add to the feeling) or vise-versa. Either way I'd say yours looks pretty good.
