Ok here's a list of what I plan to do on the next days to bring this website up to date:

1- I will add all the attachements: By chronological date (yes I have to do it manually) including adapting Adge's work in order for the animations to appear.
2- Add need mods: like "thumbs up" and other features.
3- Overall the theme with custom graphics, buttons and headers (we want our rotating banner back lol).
4- Adapt my blog and content forum.
5- I want to hear what you want.

This will be an ungoing process but I will do my very best to have most of the attachements done by Thursday.

BTW. Deif I am quite aware the we have lost your last post on the old boards. You can be a sport and start it again. ;)

BTW II. Adge seems like this forum is a bit more difficult with flash animations. I will work on it. I'm trying to create a custom BBcode that will allow you to link and size your .swf ATM you can add new animation using this codes.

    Code:
    <embed src="http://path_to_flash_file/your_flash_file.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="454" height="700"></object>
    More updates comming soon.

    Hi explorer,

Have managed to log in successfully. I will upload a new Flash panel to see if your scripting works. :)
My only observation that I need to get use to seeing is the lack of a left hand side panel given the message member ID which is now above the posts.

    Hello everyone.
Here's another update on the new forums.

    - Fixed the top login form. Change the font colour to white.
    - Added a "thanks" function.
The Thanks You function will be the new "thumbs up". The way it works is simple, after every post a member does, you will see a "Thanks" button. You are free to Thanked everyone. The amount of thanks given and received will appear in your member info at the right. You can only thanked once per post. (More info soon).
    - Uploaded the attachements of all topics of page 1 for the LCARS forums (it will take sometime in order to do them all).
    - Added four field to the upload attachment menu. This will give you the opportunity to upload up to for attachments at a time.
    - Attachment file size limit increased to almost 10mb (which being very generous).

    More to comme soon.

    Thanks for your patience.

After spending almost a week on this, I have simplify the code for embedding of flash animation.

    HTML Code:
    [FLASH="http://www.yoursite.com/youranimation.swf"] width=XXXX height=XXXX[/FLASH]
    • All you do is go in "advanced reply/post"
    • Type in the width and height in the regular writting form
    example:
    width=828 height=282

    • Make sure you have the space in between those two
    • Now underline that text and click on the new "red flash editing button" at the right top of the writting form
    • A text box will appear
    • Enter the full URL path to your animation
    • Click on Ok.
    • Submit or save your reply and your done.
Hope you like this Adge because it was a pain to do (As I'm not a coder).;)

And to rest of you; more updates comming tommorow.

I'll also be uploading the first page of Attachements for the "2D and Textures " forum.

Thank you again for your patience.
