Think of a new logo.

Hi guys and girls.

I'm thinking of making a new logo for our little (yet expending) community. Here's my first take on it.

I would welcome suggestion and opinion.
When I'm decided with the proper logo I want to create presentation background and order for me and who ever is willing, to use as template to show off our work.

not bad at all. i would do two bars at the bottom of the brace elements to prevent the impression, this site is focused on flags or golf clubs...LOL. thatwas my first idea, to be honest.

Played with it though with a bit of colour. Possibly OTT!

I think colorless is better, the shades fit more with the website. I actually think it looks good the key to a good logo is simplicity yet still unique. The only suggestion I have is maybe make the words fit a little better for a more linear look.

You are right deif, they look like golf clubs. And I have to agree with mtblillie with they darker colourless look. I am pretty sure have found a good balance now. In my opinion it looks very nice, LCARS looking and yet very "actual" in style.

yep, look s better, but turn it upside down - the thick bars on the top and the thin ones at the bottom. just my two cents.

And here is a quick exemple of my presentation background. really like it. Still familiar but it fills the emptiness of the plain white background.

Opinions again apreciated.

I like it! I especially like how if you are an outsider it looks like any other other logo someone might make, but we know what the design implies. Great job!

Yep I must agree with everyone's comments.

I have attached a floatable version which will when placed anywhere images can still be seen through the logo. Nice Logo.
