    I really like the Aurora project logo, but it seems like it might be lacking something! Maybe if you would just reverse the coloured part with the grey part! I also wouldn't recommand putting gradients on a logo.

    I've attached a small example. Keep in mind that this is just my own opinion, and that you are doing a great job!

    It is absolutely okay if we may discuss different opinions, if not, the whole posting would be obsolete!

    Well, I will do another version of the logo, and the gradients were only to give it a certain 3D look.

    A design for a possible simple desktop. When the cursor is over one of the element and you click, it becomes more colorful and not only half visible.

    I am not an expert for such things, but I think it looks not too bad.
