Star Trek: Valiant - 3D models feedback

Hey, I'd thought id share my work on my book with you. As it is a novel, there is no real need for pictures but I'd though Id make some pictures anyway, sort of promo posters style stuff

The first is the XPS Avalon, the Ship used by the ancient and mysterious race The Arcturans (a new race)


Any Advice/Criticise?

the ship reminds me more on stargate then star trek - just my opinion.

I will have to admit, the design of the ship and 3D model was originally intended to be for the stargate universe. But when I needed a large impressive ship for the Arcturans, the Avalon was perfect

So what do you think, admitedly the current view of the Valiant I have used dosent show the Phase Cannons on the underside

I would love to see a wireframe of this model.
I like the way the texture flow around the model so far.

Starships in Star Trek always have pylons you just want to snap off with your fingers.
