I have decided to starts laying out some rules in order get a more active community and to help increase the speed of our forums.
Members Restriction
- The animation forums will be restricted to registered members. At the moment, unregistered guest can not view any attachments, why could they see the animations?
- Downloads will be available for registered members only. This includes all Freebies.
- Albums are restricted to registered members.
Poll and Discussion Rules
- We encourage people to vote and explain their choices.
- We welcome debates on subjects as long as it remains civilized and enjoyable to everyone.
- We ask that every member respects each other.
Account Expiration
- Starting December 10th, 2010 a user who hasn't logged in to the community for more than a year and who has never posted (comments of forum post) will get their accounts deleted.
- Next database clean-up is scheduled for March 2011.
I will be making more as I go,
but please let me know what you all think before I start implementing this.
