New Rank Badges and overall encouragement

Good day all,
I see the community is booming with new members (active members too ). I want to discussed a few things with the community.

I'll start with the new badges. Some of you may have noticed them but with the recommendation of 1 of our senior members, we have implemented some new badges with specific color codes.

The code is fairly simple:

1. YRMENIUM for 10 posts
2. OCOSSIUM for 50 posts
3. BRONZE for 100 posts
4. SILVER for 250 posts
5. GOLD for 500 posts
6. PLATINUM for 1,000 posts
7. LATINUM for 2,000 posts
8. DILITHIUM for 3,000 posts
9. TOPALINE for 4,000 posts
10. ANTIMATTER for 5,000 posts
11. RUBIDIUM for 10,000 posts
12. OMERGA for more than 15,000 posts

All this is strictly to encourage posting and will not effect any permission to view anything. I like this community as it is, but we need to work together to get people commenting each others work. Which brings me to the Freebie Fridays.

I see an average of 10 freebies being downloaded each week. Obviously, that's not a lot but at least if these 10 members say thanks each times, we will know that it is worth the trouble. At this time only 2 or 3 members comment on the Freebies, and I would like it to go up to 8 for very soon.

I don't think I speak strictly for myself here when I say that we all do this for fun, and the only thing we can get back from our work is the occasional "Thank you".

i second kmpr_rak.
i'm shure, we are on the right track. i'm certain, that this forum's excellence lies in quality and not in quantity. and to be honest, i would also like to pursue this - that means, better less members and posts, but better content. we also need to encourage others to give feedback and not grew tired. people are normally lazy, so let's talk to them again and again and again....
for me it's worth to do so!
