I have thought about posting the short summaries, and I have decided I will post one every few days, not as I did it with my former series! :-D

And the last for today: a short summary for the main plot of season 1.

The Ancient Star Portal System is discovered, and a new authority named "Allied Stargate Command" (members are the Humans, the Nox, the Tok'ra, a main faction of the Genii and some others) establishes a permanent outpost on the world of Esperia, where the technology was developed.

A portal team, contenting of Lt. Col. Calhill, Capt. Danes, Lt. Boyle and Dr. Askins, is determined as the "primary research team", although I think by time some more will be added to the mission. Later the "PT" grows when an alien member, Sevanne Mydram, becomes a permanent member.

During the first episodes a new major enemy is introduced, whereas at first it looks as the Ancients were not as friendly or even perfect as we may know it. But believe me, they are not the bad, but have a look on the Abradar! :-D

We will see interesting locations, meet ancestors of the Ancients, be part of space and planetary battles.
