Bajoran Style Forum Sig

I made this sig a while back for my (former) STO fleet's forums. Just thought I might as well share it here. This image is a bit small, but it's the only size in uploadable format right now, since it was for a forum. Click the attachment thumbnail for a slightly larger view.

I love Bajoran designs as I have completed quite a few. Although this is a Forum Signature and by the looks, is a well polished layout and design, I must agree, a larger picture would be wonderful to see.

I thought I had a larger image on my computer, but I guess I don't. I'm going out of town, and I was going to post the (non existant) larger image before I left, but it'll have to wait until I can export a larger image from Inkscape. Just make sure you click on the attachment to see it's (somewhat) larger size.

Finally got around to exporting a bitmap. Here it is:

This was I think my first project with Inkscape. The images are from Star Trek Online. The two triangles below the insignia were made by fleetmates. The Starfleet delta and Galaxy class schematics I pulled from the internet.

For some reason it looks like the export took a chunk out of the top down view of the saucer, but you get the idea.

Edit: for reference, I used the Bajoran star chart from the episode where Sisko builds a solar sailor (it was posted on Drex files, so a nice image and screens from there). I also used screenshots from http://ds9.trekcore.com/ , particularly the episodes where the Circle used a Bajoran general for an attempted coup'de'tat (there's a big board - not sure why they let cameras in) and it was either those episodes or the episodes where the Bajorans confront the Romulans that showed several screenshots of a Bajoran ship's control panel (Dax and Kira go find one on a Bajoran moon).

Bitmap? It's a PNG...? Are bitmaps better?

No, absolutely not. Sorry, I thought it was a Bitmap as some of the lines, curves and letters are not clean, you see another color under it. Did you render it somehow?
