Hi all.
It's been a while since I last posted here. The combination of a new relationship, moving house and work stress has kept me off a lot of my forums for a while. But, life is beginning to settle down again and I've returned to working on my MSDs.
First up, the nebula class I started many months ago.
Here is my WIP
Yes, I know it doesn't have the number of decks commonly held as correct (32), but using the galaxy class msd as a scale (the saucer section) for the decks, 25 is all that will fit.
Most believe the Nebula class is a Galaxy class without the neck. The neck contains 10 decks. So most just subtract 10 from the 42 decks the Galaxy class has to get the total number of decks for the Nebula class.
However, from my observations, the Nebula class is a lot more complex than that. The saucer and engineering hulls are far more modified that it looks. It seems the engineering hull is not as deep and looses a few decks in height to accept the saucer section.
Seeing there is no real canon evidence any which way of exactly how many there are, 25 is as good to me as any number.
