Exclamation Dei Machiavelli and his LCARS Apps

    Hi everyone,
I just wish to make something clear. Recently, I've been receiving many complaints about some LCARS Apps for the iPhone that I apparently developed. Upon further research I noticed that the author Dei Machiavelli is using our website for support. So I'm getting all the complaints (rarely any good comments lol). I just want to state that I am no way involved in making these apps and that I am working hard to get this fixed.

    See an example here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/6-lcars/id392793361?mt=8

Click on the 6 LCARS Support and see where it leads you to.

    Thanks,
    Robert

    Robert,

This sort of thing happens to most of us that display our work to the public, and the only way of dealing with it is writing quickly to the web publisher in this case Apple.

Theft of picture, artwork etc is an offence under many countries Theft Act's which in a nutshell “A person is guilty of theft if he or she dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it: and thief and steal shall be construed accordingly.”

I know, I've had many animations stolen and then ripped onto DVD's and then sold by the individual on various sites including e-bay. To date I have been successful it ridden the menacing individual. Unfortunately, it appears to be a 'US' thing, and when individual are exposed, the displaying ISP must under the countries law take dramatic action.

So Robert, you have my full support in exposing this thief, and may he reap the justice he deserves as the whole affair leaves you and I'm sure with an uneasy feeling on being a victim of crime.

    Best wishes.
