Desperate for spinner tutorial

Hey guys, love this site! I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to do the famililar spinner lcars as these seem very very hard to do! It would be great to get a step by step guide for a lcars/illustrator noobie so that's my request! Very much hope this can be done as the other tutorials were really good!

I'm looking to make a new video tutorial. This particular LCARS shape is hard to explain. I'm sure that deif, Adge and all the others here would agree that once you've done one XY-translation pad (or spinner) you're so happy you don't wish to do it again. Now I'm not saying I don't want to do it. I'm just saying it might take more time than what you are willing to wait for.

Hey Robert, thanks so much for the kind reply! I'm sure it's very very time consuming but i'm willing to wait as long as it takes for you to do it as i know your videos are simple and easy to follow and a pleasure to watch so i respectfully urge you to share your expertise as i'm certain you will get a lot of thanks for it!
