I'll try to get a look at the Regent soon, and try and extrapolate sizing based on the Sovereign, anyone who wants to donate some zen so I can get the regent is welcome to do so, otherwise it will be a while.

Cryptic Studios, the people who produced STO, were purchased last year by Perfect World Entertainment, and ZEN is PWE's Cash Shop Currency.

And the Regent-Class is one of the most expensive items in STO's C-Store, costing 2500 ZEN.

I realize now... that saying zen with no real explanation, on a forum that doesnt really have much to do with Star Trek Online was a bit dumb... That being said Takeshi explained it quite well. I'm saving up to get the Regent eventually. When I get it, I'll take pics and extrapolate dimensions in comparison to the Sovereign.

Took some time today to get pictures of the Regent-class and the Sovereign-class and come up with some very rough numbers as to the dimensions of the Regent. I dont have good pictures that would display very well but, I'll link the ones I did use.

    The Post-Nemesis Sovereign's specs are:

    Length: 685m
    Height: 87m
    Beam: 240m
    Decks: 29

Looking at the Regent in comparison with the Sovereign Ive come up with these specs:

    Length: 670m
    Height: 69m
    Beam: 240m
    Decks: 23

Pictures: (the blue bounding box is set to the edge of the regents hull, not the sovereigns)

    Side: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14006682/side.png

I simply took pictures of both variants in the Star Trek Online ship store and overlaid the Regent on top of the Sovereign and aligned the blue lines (Photoshop guides) to the edges of the Regents hull the applied some transparency to the layer that the Regent was on, so I could see the Sovereign clearly. The numbers are extremely rough, as I dont have a proper scale, but they are as accurate as possible.

Thank you very much for these stats, Avalon.

I hope that deif is able to do this MSD (both the generic version and the specific one with non-standard mods), now that he has the info and the best images I could find (which are in the initial post, and come from the official STO site), but I'll understand if he can't.

Regardless, thank you for getting us this info.
